Policies and Code of Conduct
- Organisers/Coaches reserve the right to refuse entry without refund if you turn up with symptoms or generally feel unwell.
- Organisers/Coaches reserve the right to refuse entry without refund if you do not follow any of our terms or guidance.

Bookings & Payments
- All bookings & payments must be made online and in advance, we will not accept any turn ups on the day.
- Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the start of your event & we finish promptly at the end for collection no later than 5 minutes after.
Equipment
- Remember to bring your own tennis racket.
- Players must bring a drink and be dressed for the weather.
- Spectators should be dressed for weather as well at outdoor venues.
- Please only bring the minimum amount of equipment with you that you need to play
- Ensure you take all your belongings with you at the end of the event and do not leave anything on court
Pre-Attendance Checklist
- All coaches and participants should undergo a pre-attendance self-assessment for any COVID-19 symptoms.
- No-one should leave home to participate in tennis if they, or someone they live with, has symptoms of COVID -19.
Travelling
- Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your event start time.
- Avoid congregating on or around the court after playing at the end of the event to allow access for others
- Allow others to leave before you enter the court - if you need to wait then do so away from the courts and clear of the gates
Venue Facilities
- Access is allowed in the clubhouses if the facility is respected and kept clean.
- There is free parking along Riverdale or in the small car park by the playground, please be considerate to residents.
- Spectators are allowed to watch from off court or from the field, they might be invited on court at the end for the presentations.
Tennis Competitions
- Racket fives at the end of matches.
- Pay careful attention to the instructions of the Organiser/Coach/Umpires at all times.
Weather Policy:
- Players are required to come dressed for the weather as we have no indoor courts.
- We will play in light rain and drizzle if the courts are safe to do so (the organiser will make the decision).
- If an event has to be cancelled, organisers will text the contact number on the booking forms as soon as they can.
- Please note we cannot control the weather so messages will be sent as soon as a decision is made.
- If you receive no text or email from the Organiser/coaches, this means the event is going ahead.
- If you decide to not attend the event and have not received a cancellation text, you are not entitled to a refund.
Refund Policy:
- If the weather stops the event from going ahead and the Organiser/coach has cancelled the event, we will issue a full refund.
- If you are unable to attend, you must give 24 hours notice by email from your start time to receive a full refund.
- 50% refunds with less than 24 hours notice will be considered by the Organiser & issued at their discretion.
- No Battle Pass refund will be given for any reason & the amount is the same no matter when you sign up.
- No refunds will be given if you can cancel within 1 hour or less of your listed event start time.
- No refunds will be given if you are turned away for breaching any of our terms & conditions.
- Refunds can take 5 to 10 working days to show in your account from stripe.

Health and Safety
As a participant of the Play Series you are accepting responsibility for the safety of yourself and others in the environment you are using, be this at home or in a public space. Make sure you perform a risk assessment to remove any potential hazards and have selected a space that will keep yourself & others safe. Your choice of safe space should not annoy others & be a space that allows you to perform the challenges (if there is a no ball games sign, make sure you comply).
Before undertaking any exercise programmes or following any health guidelines you should always consult with your GP:

On sign up we ask for permission to photo/film for promotional purposes only, this your choice and will be respected.
If you would like to change the permission please contact us so we have it in writing.
Damages, losses, illness and injury
To the extent permitted by the law, Pin Point Tennis Team will not accept responsibility for any item/property damage, losses, illness, death or injury incurred during the participation of the Play Series and associated challenges. By participating in the Play Series you are accepting responsibility for any damages, losses, illness and injuries.

- By taking part in any of the Play Tour level activities/exercises you are assuming the risk of any resulting injury.

- Stay home for 5 days if you have covid or symptoms. Day 0 is when you started felling unwell or tested positive.
- On Day 6 if you feeling up to it & do not have a high temperature then you can go about your normal daily routine.

Participants are encouraged to exercise common sense and always seek the guidance of a medical professional before undertaking any form of sport and physical activity.
Participants with pre-existing medical conditions, injuries or disabilities that may affect their ability to participate in sport and physical activity, should seek medical advice and obtain written confirmation for their suitability to take part BEFORE participating.

Code of Practice
Pin Point Tennis Team is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well being of all its players. Pin Point Tennis Team believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents/guardians should at all times show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.

Players
Parents / Guardians / Spectators
- Arrive at the correct time.
- Must play with the values of fair play.
- Must respect the facility and help keep it tidy and clean.
- Must not disrupt the event at any time before/during/afterwards.
- Must respect their equipment and not throw or bash their rackets.
- All players must play within the rules and respect officials and their decisions.
- Players must wear suitable tennis kit for events, competitions, matches and challenges.
- Players are not allowed to smoke or consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on the premises.
- Must behave in acceptable way that shows respect to others and does not cause a disturbance or grief.
- All players must respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of age, gender, ability, race, culture background, religious beliefs or sexual identity.
Parents / Guardians / Spectators
- Use correct and proper language at all times.
- Never force your child to take part in sport!!!
- Publicly accept judgments made by officials.
- Discourage unfair play and arguing with officials.
- Never punish or belittle a child for losing or making mistakes.
- Help your child to recognize good performance not just results.
- Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy their sport.
- Encourage your child to learn the rules of tennis and play within them at all times.
- Be patient – steady progression is unusual in children; peaks and plateaus are common.
- All parents/guardians/spectators must respect the facility and help keep it clean and tidy.
- Set a good example by recognizing fair play and applauding the good performances of all.
- Your first question following any match should be: “Did you enjoy it?” NOT “Did you win?”
- Must behave in acceptable way that shows respect to others and does not cause a disturbance or grief.
- Parents/Guardians/Spectators are not allowed to smoke or consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on the premises.
- At NO stage should you communicate with your child or interfere with the on-court helpers, umpires and referees during a match- just enjoy the game and let officials take care of the rules!!
- All parents/guardians/spectators must respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of age, gender, ability, race, culture background, religious beliefs or sexual identity.
- All parents/guardians/spectators must watch from off court or from the field, the only time you may come on court is if you are invited by the organiser/coach (typically only during the presentations).
